ABOUT ME

I am an Art Director at a Bay Area Design Agency. I have always had a passion for design ever since I was a little kid rebranding sports teams logos and uniforms that I felt were old and outdated. Little did I know at the time that this was an actual career I could have when I grew up. When I got to high school, one of the first classes I took was a design class and I fell in love. From then on I pursued my education in graphic design at San José State University and the rest is history.

Having a passion for what I do makes work not feel like work, rather just another day where I get to do what I love to do. As an Art Director, I find ways to challenge myself and keep myself up-to-date with the newest trends, as well as trying to create my own. I would consider myself a risk-taker in design, but always with a short leash. I always strive to create artwork that is timeless, but still fresh and new. I never want to look back at my work and say, "wow, what was I thinking there?" I believe that keeps me grounded and aware of what I'm doing at the moment is going to stand the test of time and not just a gimmick.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I love traveling and trying new restaurants or food trucks. I believe that experiencing different countries and cultures really gives you a clear perspective of the world and how we're all not so different. That is why I love art and design so much, it's completely universal and can be translated throughout any language, a true connection to the world.
